SHARPER COUNSEL was at the home of Disney World this week visiting the Graphics of the Americas trade show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. A small show compared to (say) Graph Expo in Chicago every year and one intended to attract visitors from Central and South America.
An adjacent show was focused on the textile industry so clothing suppliers, screen printers, inkjet textile printers and embroidery machines were on the floor.
Also apparent were large format applications like point-of-purchase solutions, outdoor signage, vehicle wraps and some new products around fast changeover truck advertising signage.
Some of the standard printing companies were there – HP, Ricoh, etc., and a few press companies were there as well.
A new kid on the block was showing an impressive desktop color label printing machine imported from Australia based on Memjet inkjet technology; fast, fast, fast with instant dry time and excellent durability. Check it out at www.rapidlabelsys.com .
See you at the next show!
